Abstract:The Reproductive Health Survey (RHS) was conducted for the first time in Mongolia in 1998 by the National Statistical Office (NSO). The RHS had the following objectives: Gether information on fertility, mortality and family planning at the national level. Determine fertility, knowledge of contraceptives and use of contraceptives by region and rural-urban residence. Individual's age, education level and other background characteristics of women were included in the questionnaire.
Universe:7461 Women age 15-49 as well as a subsample of 1557 husbands
