Abstract:This is an extract from the March Current Population Survey. Identical extracts are available from 1968 through 1994. The unit of analysis in these extracts is the individual. Another set of extracts has the family as the unit of analysis. Information is provided about the household, family, head of the household, subfamily, individual and spouse. The data are rectangular. These files were created by Robert Moffitt while he was an affiliate with the Institute for Research in Poverty. Direct any questions about this extract to the Data Archive.
