| Abstract: | This dataset is an extract of the original DUALabs Special Fifth Count ED/BG Summary Tapes. Data are available at the county, minor civil division, enumeration district, and block group levels. The file will be sequenced by Tract and Block Group or Enumeration District for tracted areas. Following the Enumeration Districts within each Minor Civil Division or County Civil Division will be an MCD or CCD summary. If a county is partially tracted, all Tract summaries will precede the MCD/CCD summaries. If a Tract contains Block Groups and EDs, the ED summaries will precede the Block Group summaries. If an MCD or CCD is partially tracted then the MCD or CCD total will in effect be a balance of the MCD or CCD total. The data contains demographic and socioeconomic variables created from the assembled, edited 20-percent, 15-percent, and 5-percent Sample proportions of the 1970 Census. |
