Abstract:The purpose of this survey was to acquire information necessary for developing a program for the reduction of fertility. General areas covered in the survey are: background information on the respondent: age, marital status, education, religion, occupation, migration, affiliations, and economic attitudes toward family size: general attitudes toward large and small families, the concept of big and small families, preferred family size at present and at strategic points in the past, and attitudes toward children as a help or marital factors: marital satisfaction, marital communication, and history of marital birth control: general knowledge, and knowledge of specific techniques, general attitudes toward specific techniques, and history of use and fertility history.
Universe:Women aged 14 to 40 , with no more than sixth standard elementary school education, and currently engaged in a regular sexual relation with a man whether living together or not"
