PGP Encryption

To encrypt a file and delete the unencrypted version:
 
pgp -cw [file]

You will be prompted for pass phrase (password)

To unencrypt a file:

pgp [file.pgp]

You will be prompted for pass phrase

Example:

Assume my file is called 'secure' and my pass phrase is 'teow206.'

pgp -cw secure
Enter pass phrase:   teow206

The file is now encrypted with the filename 'secure.pgp.' The file 'secure' no longer exists.

pgp secure.pgp
Enter pass phrase:  teow206

When done using the file 'secure,' repeat above steps to encrypt it.
