If I have a list of 1,000 latitude and longitude points can I get a report out of ArcGIS with the census tract associated with this point?
A:
Yes, that is possible with ArcGIS.
The lat/long table will need to be added to ArcMap, converted to a points shapefile, projected, then spatially joined to the census tracts shapefile. This will output a list with the census tract for each lat/long point.
