I am having trouble with SPSS. The program is not recognizing my *.sav file.
A:
Your syntax has two problems:
GET FILE='test.sav'
SPSS expects a period at the end of the command, so at the very least you need to say:
GET FILE='test.sav' .
You should also reference the data with a complete path:
W:\fakeuser\work\projectx\test.sav'
