Can you help me convert ICPSR 9619 into SPSS?
This is a dataset that only comes in ASCII with no set-up files for SAS, SPSS, or stata.
That means you have to create your own set-up file from the technical documentation. It will tell you which columns your variables of interest are in.
Here’s an SPSS syntax manual if you’ve never done this before:
I was assuming that there would be a SAS or stata file that I could have converted to SPSS for you using Stat Transfer. That is a program that converts files from one language to another.
