Abstract
Social Explorer is a web-based application that creates fast, intuitive and visually appealing demographic maps and reports.
The maps display demographic change that has occurred in the US from 1790 to the present at a variety of geographic levels.
This site has both a public (free) version and a premium (subscription) version. The University of Michigan has access to the premium version through the University library.
