Abstract
This is a visualization using Google Maps and information on the size of the BP oil spill from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). It is updated daily.
It takes information from your ISP to put the oil spill in your neighborhood, but if it does not, just type in your location, e.g., Detroit, MI or Houston, TX, etc. in the Location box near the top of the map.
