Abstract
This guide describes how to determine census tract numbers and how to make or access tract maps for the 1990 Census and the 2000 Census. Also included is information on how to compare 1990 and 2000 census tracts. The guide points to information outside the Census about how to determine if a tract is a qualified census tract, if an area is a HUBZone, and how to determine designated Health Professional Shortage Areas or Medically Underserved Areas.
