Abstract
The Census Bureau’s urban-rural classification is fundamentally a delineation of geographical areas, identifying both individual urban areas and the rural areas of the nation. This page lists requirements for urban or rural classification for Census 2010, as well as a document to assist in differentiation between 2000 and 2010 urban area criteria.
