Abstract
Esri (makers of ArcGIS software) provides an easy way to download Census 2000 TIGER shapefiles. Shapefiles can be downloaded for an area of interest. Users can choose multiple data layers for a single county or a single data layer for multiple counties. (You will need GIS software to use the shapefiles.) Check the description to note which features are and are not available in the shapefiles.
