Abstract
This website provides the underlying data as well as a web tool for creating maps or charts, which allows researchers to compare migration patterns over time by age or Race/Hispanic.
The tool includes data from 6-decades: 1950-1960, 1960-1970, . . . . 2000-2010. Only the most recent file is "new" but the interface is an improvement over a web download. Users can still download the raw data for expert manipulation.
The site also provides documentation for how net migration rates were calculated. Roughly, the same methodology was used across all census decades.
