"AIDS publishes papers reporting original scientific, clinical, epidemiological, and social research which are of a high standard and contribute to the overall knowledge of the field of the acquired immune deficiency syndrome. The Journal publishes Original Papers, Concise Communications, Field Notes, Research Letters, and Correspondence, as well as invited Editorial Reviews, Opinion Pieces, and Editorial Comments. All manuscript submissions to the regular issues and supplements of the journal are peer-reviewed. Papers may be subject to a statistical analysis and for flow cytometry results by a group of experts in the field. Case Reports are not encouraged but may be considered as Correspondence letters.
