The journal provides critical and scholarly perspectives regarding the structural causes of poverty, as well as the relationship of poverty and inequality to dominant economic, political, cultural and social institutions. The journal also examines moral and ethical issues related to poverty, for instance, human rights, social justice, governance and democracy.
