The Sociology of Population Section of the American Sociological Association has awarded its Distinguished Contribution to Scholarship in Population to Sarah Burgard and Jennifer Ailshire for their recent paper on gender and sleep in the American Sociological Review. The award recognizes an outstanding published article in demography or population studies.
