The Cultural Significance of the Second Demographic Transition

This presentation will extend earlier work (2006, 2009) on the second demographic transition in the U.S. using a different measure of values than the vote in Presidential elections. The talk will also present a few unusual data resources, discuss issues with data quality and describe future directions for this research.
