The Health and Retirement Study recently completed genotyping using two state-of-the-art platforms. The ability to use this resource for studying gene, social, and behavior interactions are nearly endless. This presentation will discuss some of the current standards and approaches used by genomic researchers that can advance scientific knowledge without running into the pitfalls of multiple spurious associations.
