Christopher Bail

Chris Bail is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His work contributes to cultural and political sociology by explaining the relationship between ethnicity, emotions, and politics in the public sphere. This mixed-method research has been published by American Sociological Review, recognized by awards from the American Sociological Association, and supported by the National Science Foundation.
