Dr. Lantz has research interests in gender and socioeconomic differences in health status and the use of health care services. She also conducts research regarding public health policy issues in the areas of women's and infant health. Current projects include a longitudinal study of social determinants of health; a population-based study of breast cancer treatment; and several projects on policy issues in breast and cervical cancer screening in underserved populations.
