Dr. Jenkins' research interests broadly concern health and health behaviors in later life. Her current research focuses on the influence of body weight on various outcomes such as physical functioning, caregiving, involvement in activities, and net worth. She also is exploring her research interests cross-culturally by examining correlates of body weight among older adults in the Philippines and Taiwan.
