Ph.D., University of Michigan
Dr. Walsemann’s research focuses on the effect of early life experiences on health over the life course; the role of macro-level factors (e.g., socializing institutions such as families and schools) in the development of social and health inequities; and the influence of environmental contexts such as residential segregation and neighborhood characteristics on population health. Other areas of interest include longitudinal analysis, multi-level modeling, and survey research.
