Richard L. Valliant


Research Professor, Survey Research Center, University of Michigan.

Dr. Valliant has made important contributions to survey methodology in the areas of imputation for missing data, variance estimation for complex survey data, record linkage, and statistical software development. In a current NSF project he studies how to implement group methods in surveys, particularly those concerning the economy, health status of the population and other applications in the social sciences.
