Dr. Turney's research examines the consequences of parental depression for young children’s outcomes, the relationship between mental health and family formation during the transition to adulthood, the educational and socioemotional adjustment of young children with immigrant parents, and the importance of neighborhood context in economic and health outcomes throughout the life course.
