Dr. Andrew studies the reproduction of socioeconomic inequality over time, particularly the psycho-social facets of this process. She has examined socioeconomic inequalities and decision making in post-secondary education, the long-term effects of primary grade retention, and the intergenerational effects of health selection. Her current work focuses on the relationship between education and health among minority young adults in the U.S.
