Regional Studies

In addition to its considerable research portfolio and accomplishments focusing on the United States the Population Studies Center has extensive research experience and expertise in virtually every region of the world. Our international research portfolio includes studies of: schooling, families, and income in Latin America; fertility, mortality, and aging in Europe; health and the transition to adulthood in Africa; and reproduction and family life in the Middle East. Our Asian work includes studies of: family and fertility in South Asia; fertility, health, and aging in Southeast Asia; and mortality, fertility, and social mobility in East Asia.
