The Foundation's Scholars in Health Policy Research Program provides postdoctoral training targeted to the most promising graduates of programs in the disciplines of economics, political science, and sociology to advance their involvement in health policy research. This grant provides implementation support for participation in this Program. It is anticipated that graduating Scholars will make important contributions to health policy research. Program training includes providing opportunities to learn more about public health and the health care system, with exposure to cross-disciplinary dialogue regarding health policy research, and with mentoring, resources, and other types of support for the scholars' own research.
