Through a subcontract mechanism, the Youth & Social Issues Program will provide access to the Monitoring the Future (MTF) cross-sectional and data sets for 8th, 10th, and 12th grade students, for the years 1998-2008, with their geographic identifiers. As part of this task, YSI staff will provide data management services, merging their MTF data sets with the Nielsen ratings data and ImpacTeen policy data. Research Associate II, Yvonne Terry-McElrath, will perform all statistical analyses of the merged MTF-Nielsen-ImpacTeen data sets. She will contribute to the interpretation and dissemination of findings from the analyses that involve MTF data, including participating in peer-reviewed articles and presentations. She will be responsible for communicating regularly with Dr. Emery regarding the progress of MTF-based analyses and the interpretation of findings.
