NPC Director Sheldon Danziger will continue his collaborative work with the Research Network on Transitions to Adulthood of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, headed by Frank Furstenberg (University of Pennsylvania). These funds will support the analysis of new Wave IV data from the AddHealth panel study to examine the effects of parental socio-economic background and parental financial transfers on the educational attainment and economic security of the AddHealth respondents who were teenagers when the panel began and were young adults when surveyed in 2008.

Funding Period: 07/01/2009 to 12/31/2012
