This proposal lays the foundation for future research evaluating ten different War on Poverty programs by collecting information by pursuing three specific aims: (1) collecting and cleaning information on the timing of War on Poverty grants, the amount of the awards, and the specific locations of service provision; (2) examining the allocation process of War on Poverty funds to different Community Action programs and the coincidence of these awards; (3)disseminating information on the timing of grants and the amount of awards for other programs funded under the War on Poverty for use by other researchers.
