IPA National Center for Health Statistics

Summary
The IPA will cover work related to survey design and analysis. More specifically, the project will entail statistical research to include: 1) Work on combining information from multiple sources, including the use of external information to improve survey designs and estimates; 2) Developing methods for and evaluations of adjustments for nonresponse in surveys; and 3) Redesign of the National Health Interview Survey. The IPA assignee will also service in a leadership role in research by collaborating with and mentoring NCHS staff, advising the Director and the Associate Director, and helping to build the NCHS research program.

Funding Period: 09/01/2011 to 08/30/2013
