A seminar with a changing set of topics from year to year. In recent years, topics have included: Place and health, Life-expectancy declines in central and eastern Europe, Community Structure and health, Income Inequality and mortality, Life-course approaches to disease, Impact of negative emotions on health status, Stress and health, Causal thinking in social epidemiology, Impact of Welfare reform on mental illness, and Impact of religiosity and spirituality on health.
