The Department of Sociology invites applications at the senior tenured level (associate or full professor) to join our faculty in Fall 2008, contingent upon availability of position funding.
We welcome applicants in all areas of specialization. Areas of interest include social inequality, including race, ethnic, and gender inequality, and social organization or social institutions at the micro, macro or global levels. We are also interested in candidates who could contribute to graduate training in quantitative or qualitative methods. The Department is seeking individuals able to work with diverse students and colleagues, and who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.

of research and teaching interests, and samples of written work (other than books) must be completed on-line.
