Director
Center for Studying Health System Change (HSC)

The Center for Studying Health System Change (HSC), a nonpartisan research organization known for high-quality, timely and objective health policy research, is expanding its portfolio to include policy analyses. Building on HSC's strong research track record, HSC policy analyses will focus on many similar topics, including the organization, financing and delivery of health services, health care costs, quality of care, and access to care by low-income people and other vulnerable populations.

HSC is currently recruiting a senior-level person to lead this new effort. Candidates should have a strong background in policy analysis, demonstrated ability to supervise junior analysts; the individual also will be expected to work collaboratively with HSC researchers and engage them to contribute to analyses or advise on research issues. Excellent written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Successful candidates will also demonstrate the ability to craft data- and research-driven policy analyses. Candidates also should be skilled at outreach to policymakers, with the skills to develop strong relationships to identify policy analysis and research topics of interest to policymakers and to help disseminate HSC policy analyses and research.

Candidates should have a minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy or health administration and 10 years of relevant experience. The director of policy analysis will report directly to the HSC president.

HSC offers a supportive and collegial working environment, a competitive salary commensurate with your qualifications, and comprehensive benefits. To apply, please submit a cover letter, curriculum vita or resume, two writing samples and contact information for three references via our employment Web site: https://careers.mathematica-mpr.com/applicants/Central?quickFind=51224
