About the Library

The Institute for Social Research (ISR) Community and Diversity Lending Library is intended to reflect and embrace the multi-faceted nature of the institute. The goal of the collection is to help build a spirit of community at ISR, to raise awareness about important social issues, and to foster respect for one another's diverse backgrounds and viewpoints. The intent of the Library is to make materials and resources easily available and accessible to the staff in the Institute. There are currently two locations, located in the ISR-Thompson, and ISR-Perry Atriums.
