Kevin LaGrandeur, professor at the New York Institute of Technology, looks at the displacement of workers by intelligent automation - including in manufacturing, farming, construction, and news media - and discusses what societies can do to compensate for technological unemployment and to prevent the poverty and dislocation that might follow.
