The purpose of this workshop is for participants to learn about state-of-the-art mixed methods research design and to incorporate rigorous mixed methods components into their own dissertation/thesis project and writing.
​Participants at all stages of the dissertation/thesis process are encouraged to attend!
This workshop will address:
Choosing a mixed methods design
Writing purpose statements and research questions
Developing a conceptual framework
Developing a procedural diagram illustrating your methods, design, procedures, and outcomes
Developing a visual joint display for integrating your qualitative and quantitative data​
Selecting and working with your committee
Structuring your mixed methods dissertation or thesis, including the introduction, methods, results, and discussion
Turning your dissertation into publications
