The Population Dynamics and Health Program (PDHP), part of the Population Studies Center is pleased to offer a Faculty Small Grants Program. PDHP offers four types of small grants - (1) Pilot Project Seed Grants, (2) Methods Development Small Grants, (3) Mini Seed Grants for Project Development, and (4) Mini Grants for Computing and Secure Data Analysis - as described below.

Recipients of recent grants, Dirgha Ghimire and Achyuta Adhvaryu, will speak about their work.

Dr. Ghimire studies the relationship among social context, social change, family organization, marriage arrangement, and first birth timing in Nepal. His research also includes the inter-relationship between population and environmental dynamics.

Dr. Adhvaryu's research focuses on development economics, health economics, and public policy.

PSC Brown Bag seminars highlight recent research in population studies and serve as a focal point for building our research community.
