Citing a report by Susann Rohwedder and Robert Willis, this story suggests that seniors' retirement planning should include consideration of continuing some sort of unpaid (or even paid) work. In a cross-national study, Rohwedder and Willis found that early retirement from the labor force is associated with cognitive decline.
