ESPN calls Eisenberg's Athletes Connected program a model for other universities

a PSC In The News reference

"How a Michigan program is focusing on athletes' mental health" - ESPN. 03/31/2016.

Describing the U-M program Athletes Connected as "a groundbreaking research, treatment and educational project dedicated to promoting mental health in student-athletes," this piece says it's a model for other colleges and universities. And in fact, Daniel Eisenberg, principal researcher of the program, launched the Healthy Minds Study, a survey administered to 100+ US colleges and universities. He is using the results to provide advice on types of programs schools can institute for athletes and all students to promote mental health.
