a PSC In The News reference, 2016

"Unclogging courts by resolving simple cases online" - Bridge Magazine. 05/19/2016.

Citing the benefits of online case resolution for minor offenses like traffic infractions or low-level misdemeanors, J.J. Prescott argues for employing technology to cut the backlog of court cases in Michigan. Online case resolution can increase efficiency, communication accuracy, and convenience for defendants as well as court and law enforcement personnel, He says: "The bulk of the delay and difficulty [in resolving minor cases] derive from the organizing and arranging of minute-long meetings.... Creating innovative new methods for citizens to go to court virtually can benefit every participant in the judicial system."
