Do universities need more conservative thinkers?

a PSC In The News reference, 2016

"Ideological Diversity In The University" - Forbes. 07/18/2016.

Citing ISR’s Scott Page on the value of diversity in problem solving, this story makes a case for diversifying perspectives in academia – in particular, pushing to increase the fraction of “conservative and otherwise atypical viewpoints” represented by faculty. The author says: “If we want academia to act as an engine for truth and intellectual progress, we must try to increase the diversity of ideologies and perspectives within it.”
