Gonzalez, Alter, and Dinov win NSF "Big Data Spokes" award for neuroscience network

Rich Gonzalez (PI), George Alter, and Ivo Dinov received an NSF award intended to establish 'spokes' to advance big data applications. Their spoke - the Advanced Computational Neuroscience Network (ACNN) - will "design, pilot and support powerful neuro-scientific computational resources for high-throughput, collaborative, and service-oriented data aggregation, processing and open-reproducible science." The goal of the ACNN is to foster new interdisciplinary and cross-organizational collaborations in the study of neuroscience.
