Former PSC trainee Eric Chyn wins PAA's Dorothy S. Thomas Award for best paper

On April 28 at the Annual Meeting of the Population Association of America, former PSC trainee Eric Chyn won the Dorothy S Thomas Award for best graduate student paper on the interrelationships among social, economic and demographic variables. Chyn's winning paper is entitled: "The Long-Run Effect of Public Housing Demolition on Labor Market Outcomes of Children." The Award includes a cash prize. Chyn is now an Assistant Economics Professor at the University of Virginia.
