U-M awarded $58 million to develop ideas for preventing and treating health problems

U-M's Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research has received a $58 million grant from the NIH National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences to help bring ideas and discoveries in health science to fruition. MICHR works as a catalytic partner with researchers and community members to fund, connect, and otherwise support clinical and translational research. It serves as a research hub for faculty and staff from across the U-M campus and an impetus for community engagement.

PSC's Tiffany Veinot received MICHR funding to help support her work making it possible for kidney dialysis patients have more effective treatment sessions and healthier lives.
