"The University of Michigan is considering allowing Richard Spencer to speak on campus" - Washington Post. 10/31/2017.

After his August torchlight march at UVA that turned violent and deadly, Richard Spencer wants to take his white-nationalist message to other campuses. Several universities have declined Spencer's request to appear on campus and at least one lawsuit has been filed against one that refused. The University of Michigan, which received a request from the alt-right National Policy Institute to allow Spencer to speak on campus, issued a statement saying: “The university will carefully consider this request, paying close attention to the safety and security of our community.”
