Miech: Percent of HS seniors reporting their parents' acceptance of marijuana use triples over past 4 decades

a PSC In The News reference

"Marijuana’s perceived approval ratings on the rise" - MDedge. 06/07/2018.

In a recent Monitoring the Future report, researcher Richard Miech and colleagues say that - after a 39-year hiatus - MTF once again surveyed teens about perceived parental disapproval of marijuana use. They found: "for regular marijuana use, 13% of 12th graders do not think their parents would disapprove in 2017, which is more than three times higher than the 4% average for 1976-1979."
