Kusunoki and colleagues find brief behavioral interventions help reduce dating violence and depression

"Timely interventions help spot signs of teen dating violence" - EurekAlert!.

A recent article in the journal Pediatrics by Ngo, Eisman, Walton, Kusunoki, Chermack, Singh and Cunningham examine an emergency department–based brief intervention on dating violence perpetration and victimization and depression symptoms over 3, 6, and 12 months. Results indicate a single intervention session show promise to reduce dating violence and depression symptoms.
