Dr. Megan O'Neil, a Research Investigator with the Population Studies Center, received a subcontract from the University of Cincinnati to work on the $2.7M project funded by the Arnold Foundation, “Community Corrections Fines & Fees.” Ten community corrections sites are under consideration for partnerships throughout Michigan. Dr. O'Neil says, “evidence produced from this research will help probation and parole identify what is working well for them and why, and, learn what other states do well that could be replicated here in Michigan.”
